I’ve spent over a decade advocating, educating, and enlightening—teaching, guiding families, and training educators to navigate the system like pros. I’ve mastered the art of breaking down complex processes, demystifying IEPs, and transforming overwhelmed educators into confident, successful advocates.

I’m on a mission to enlighten, empower, and advocate—helping parents cut through the confusion so their child gets the support they deserve, and giving educators the tools to build a business that changes lives.

I started as an educator, deeply committed to helping students with special needs thrive. But time and time again, I saw parents struggling to understand and navigate the special education system and school districts who weren’t helping parents understand the process.

I saw parents who were left confused, overwhelmed, and often unheard. I also saw passionate educators who wanted to advocate but felt stuck in a system that kept them from truly making an impact. So, I took action. I became an advocate—at first, for students and parents.

I built Cultivating Unique Minds to help parents advocate for their child and from that, The Enlightened IEP was created to guide parents through the special education process with confidence.

As I sat in more meetings, conferences, and connected with more educators, I continued to recognize educators who wanted what was best for their students but trapped in a broken system. I also noticed so many educators who wanted OUT of the system but still wanted to help children.

So I build From Educator to Advocate to educate, enlighten, empower, and advocate—giving educators the roadmap to turn their passion into a thriving advocacy business. Today, I’ve helped over 100 families fight for the support their children deserve, trained educators to leave the classroom and build successful advocacy careers, and created a movement of bold, informed, and unstoppable advocates.Because when parents are empowered, children win. And when educators are freed from the system to advocate on their own terms, real change happens.
